This is one of those cannons when I saw the patent I wondered if
they were ever made and if so, will I ever find one. On a recent antiquing
trip I came across this piece in a lot with two other fire cracker cannons.
Unlike the Shimer cannon, the Nash has the patent number cast into the
trail. This leaves no doubt as to the origin of the toy. Compare the photo
and the patent drawing below and see if you agree.
